Questions & answers

The things we get asked most often. If yours isn't here, just ask us.

What time should I arrive?

The wedding is on Saturday, 26 September 2026. Come from 12:30 for the welcome drinks — the ceremony starts at 14:00. Please be seated a few minutes before that, so nobody has to slip in mid-vow.

Where will we sleep?

With around 100 guests, we've booked five different hotels, all within a 15-minute drive of the venue. Timothée put his finest negotiating skills to work to get us the most affordable prices he could: a flat 25 € a night, whichever hotel you end up in. The closest family doesn't pay a thing. Every room is paid for in advance, so we kindly ask everyone else to pass that amount on to Timothée. We've assigned the rooms ourselves, as carefully as we could, and given everyone as much privacy as the beds allowed — friends will often be sharing a room. We'll tell you which hotel is yours in good time, and the exact address will be on your own invitation page too.

Is the ceremony in the same place as the party?

Yes — the ceremony, the cocktail hour, dinner and the dancing all happen at Villa Fresco. Once you arrive, you don't have to move all day. The only thing somewhere else is where you sleep: the hotels are a short drive away.

How do we get from the hotel to the wedding and back?

The way back is taken care of: a minibus runs from the venue to the hotels through the night — just ask the staff and they'll arrange it. Getting there is up to you, though.

Can I come by car? Is there parking?

There is parking at the venue. Even so, we'd recommend leaving the car behind: a minibus runs through the night to take you back to your hotel — just ask the staff and they'll arrange it for you. One exception: if you're driving and know you won't be drinking at all, please do come with your car — it would help us enormously with getting everyone back to the hotels.

Is there a dress code?

Nothing strict — come comfortable and festive. If you'd like to match the colour palette, you'll find it in the Details section. We only ask the ladies to leave white, cream and pearl to the bride 😉

By when do I need to reply?

Please reply through your personal invitation link by 31 August 2026. It helps us enormously with seating, food and rooms.

Can I bring someone?

Your invitation names everyone we've saved a seat for. If you'd like to bring someone else, ask us first — the venue has a fixed number of places.

Are children welcome?

Yes — the children named on your invitation are very welcome. Tell us in your RSVP note if they need anything in particular.

I have an allergy or a dietary restriction.

Write it in the dietary field of your RSVP — there's one for each person — and the kitchen will take care of it.

What about gifts?

Your presence is the real gift. If you'd still like to give something, a contribution towards our honeymoon would make us very happy.

Should I bring flowers?

Please don't bring a bouquet — it wouldn't survive the journey home. If you'd like to bring flowers anyway, bring a single stem of your favourite one. We'll gather them all into one big bouquet of everybody's favourite flowers — a bouquet that will exist only at our wedding ❤️

I still have a question.

Just write to us — reply to the message that brought you here, or use the note field in your RSVP. We'll get back to you.
